In which LA is not so bad

I recently took a trip to LA to attend an old friend's wedding. While I was there, I got a chance to photograph Youtube drummer extraordinaire Cobus Potgieter in his studio, and hit up my bud Josiah Leming at his Surly Goat residency show.

I also bought myself a prism, and tried out prisming for the first time, a tried-and-true Sam Hurd technique. I obviously still have a long way to go on that front, but below are two of my first attempts.

So as it turns out, LA's actually not so bad. Who knew?
